Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Campaign to stop the pain - Monday 7th Nov

Stop Black Deaths in CustodyA coalition of organisations and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members have launched a campaign to pressure the Government to implement the 339 Recommendations of the now twenty year old Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody. This is a vital campaign to reduce imprisonment and put an end to the unneccessary deaths of yet more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Queensland Gaols. Your skills are needed to support this campaign.

Help support the campaign to end the injustice of large numbers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people being incarcerated and dying in paddy wagons, watch houses and jails with this vigil to remember 18 year old dancer Daniel Yock who died in police custody on Brereton Street in 1993.
