UPDATE: Impromptu march and BBQ a great success at Jagera Hall. Notice: Everyone welcome. Brisbane Murri organisers have organised a Rally and March marking Invasion Day 26th January 2012. The rally will convene at Parliament House at 10am with a speakers forum. At 11am people will march through the city and across to Musgrave Park for a community BBQ. Everyone welcome. There will also be a candle vigil and prayer at the Sussex Street Uniting Church on Wednesday 25th.

Thanks all your wonderful support throughout 2011. It was a big year and could not have been done without you. We look forward to seeing you sometime in 2012.

ANTaR Qld and Project 10% partners won the Premiers Reconciliation Award in the partnerships category last month. The Award which included $1800 of prize money was handed over in a ceremony held in Cairns on the 31st May. The partnership between the members of the Project 10% team has been operating since Feb 2009 and ANTaR Qld is proud to be a part of making a difference.

ANTaR has today congratulated Ms Jody Broun and Mr Les Malezer for their election as co-Chairs of the National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples.
