Stolen Wages

Torres Strait island twin brothers are appealing to the Queensland government to pay out stolen wages withheld from them and thousands of other indigenous people. Overview - Stolen Wages Built this State

Still Unfinished Business

The Australian Government finally released it's response to the Recommendations from Unfinished Business: Indigenous Stolen Wages - a report of the Senate Standing committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs. The response is brief and unsubstantial but full details of the original report can be found here. The struggle for justice continues in Qld with a case before the courts being supported by the QCU.
